Saw this on Liz's blog and thought it would do as a post until I get around to laoding some photos on to my laptop...so here goes

1. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before?
Went to Sydney.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I too joined the gym but it didn't last long. I'm definately giving it a go again in 2007.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, my sister-in-law Kirsty(Ethan) and my cousin's wife Nikki (Gemma).
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Andrew's Nanna passed away in Spetember aged 91 and my Grandad passed away a few weeks later aged 83.
5.What countries did you visit?
Unfortunately none
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More will power.
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The sad ones like the day my grandad and Nan Nan passed away and of course the happy one...the day my nephew was born.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making DT
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not sticking with WW.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than a few colds and a bad case of gastro.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
my laptop.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
my girls, finally learning to play nice together.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I'd rather not say...but I certainly discovered who my real friends are!
14. Where did most of your money go?
If I knew that I might be able to go and find it.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Sydney in August for Kiwi Scraps.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Goodbye My Lover - James Blunt
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
Definately fatter and poorer but at least I'm happier.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Taken photos of Andrew and I.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Procrastinate.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
We travelled around Melbourne visiting family and friends.

Lost

My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
23. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Can't say I really had one.
24. What did you want and get?
A brand new Kitchen and laundry.
25. What did you want and not get?
Another lens for my camera.
26. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Had tea with the fam and I was 31.
27. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
complete comfort...I practically lived in my jeans and crocs.
28. What kept you sane?
Good friends.
29. What political issue stirred you the most?
The new Workplace Agreement - what a cockup that is!
30. Who was the best new person you met?
I have met and made so many great friends this year that it would be impossible to name just one so I am going with the obvious choice and am going to say Donna Downey!
